NAGE, Commonwealth Meet for First Bargaining Session for New Contract

Members of the negotiations team representing Units 1, 3, and 6 met with representatives of the Commonwealth today at NAGE headquarters in Quincy to begin formal negotiations for a new contract.
The meeting began with informal introductions of both teams' members and proceeded with a discussion of ground rules. The two sides also agreed to a bargaining schedule that will have the teams meeting once every two weeks. The next bargaining session is scheduled for March 12.
