NAGE Remembers 9/11 First Responders

Sep 10
1 min read

Twenty-five years later, we remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed by that tragic day.

We honor the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, construction workers, public employees, and all working people who ran toward danger to help others—and we remember those who never made it home. We also recognize the strength, courage, and solidarity shown by people and communities in the days, months, and years that followed.

25 years later, we remember. We honor. We stand together.

Union Local Tax Issues

Federal law now requires that every local union file an annual information return—Form 990, 990-EZ, or 990-N—with the IRS.

If your local fails to file under this new requirement, your local will lose its tax-exempt status.
