NAGE is proud to endorse Frank Valeri in his candidacy for reelection to the Massachusetts State Retirement Board. Valeri has served in this role alongside NAGE National Executive Vice President Theresa McGoldrick for nearly a decade, and NAGE is proud of the work they have done together to fight for the rights and benefits of retirees in the state.
Valeri has a celebrated track record of serving those who have retired in Massachusetts: he spent 38 years working in the Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission, has been the president of the Mass Retirees Association since 2013, and has served as a member of the State Retirement Board since 2017. In this time, he has fought to repeal the unfair Social Security WEP and GPO laws, shorten the wait for first pension payment, strengthen veterans service buyback rights, and improve the COLA benefits for retirees.
NAGE is honored to stand with Valeri in his efforts to continue his great work for retired residents of this state, and for these reasons fully supports his bid for reelection to the State Retirement Board.
