May 17, 2017   |   Back to News Senate Ways and Means Budget Released On Tuesday, May 23, 2017 the Senate began the budget debate.  

Senator Mike Brady, in conjunction with NAGE and other public sector unions, has filed amendment 268 to cap yearly out of pocket expenses at $2,500 for individuals and $5,000 for families. If passed, this would mean the most an individual or family would have to pay out of pocket annually would be $2,500 and $5,000 respectively.

Please take a minute to call your Senator and ask that they co-sponsor amendment 268 and that they support a roll call vote on the amendment!
