NAGE Succeeds in Getting Retro Payments for Retirees
Recently, NAGE was able to live up to the motto that NAGE "is all about YOU!" and help make some recent retirees whole after their retirement.
Several retirees did not receive the NAGE-negotiated retroactive salary increases that they were due under the most recent collective bargaining agreement. The retroactive increases were not reflected in their accrued vacation and sick leave payouts.
NAGE intervened on behalf of approximately 70 members, and was able to secure payments to those who were not receiving what they were due. The payments totaled over $57,000.
