Free Classes Available for EOHHS NAGE Members

The Commonwealth-NAGE Training and Career Ladder Committee has partnered with the EOHHS Center for Staff Development (CSD) to offer Career Ladder training opportunities to its members. These classes are free to all EOHHS NAGE members and are being offered throughout the Commonwealth. Classes will be available April-June and include the following topics:

  • Access—Introduction, Intermediate, Advanced
  • Excel—Introduction, Intermediate, Advanced
  • Outlook
  • Project
  • American Sign Language
  • Business Writing
  • Customer Service
  • Supervisor Training
  • Meeting Facilitation
  • Project Management
  • Public Speaking
  • Writing Skills
  • Balancing Work and Family
  • Dealing with Transition
  • Handling Difficult Conversations
  • Preventing Professional Burnout

You can register for any of these classes by logging into PACE, the learning management system. The PACE job aid will walk you, step-by-step, through the process of logging on and registering for classes.

The Training & Career Ladder Program is a negotiated benefit offered through the NAGE Collective Bargaining Agreement. With supervisor approval and consideration for operational needs, paid release time will be given to attend these courses. No employee will be restricted from eligibility due to length of service, seniority, applicability to job or level of job performance.
