Rep. Marty Walsh Champions Fight to Maintain State Employees' Premium Contributions at Current Levels

NAGE and more than a dozen other state employee unions have joined together to campaign against proposed increases to employees' health insurance premium contributions. The coalition of unions has garnered the strong support of State Representative Marty Walsh, who is leading the charge to encourage his fellow lawmakers to support maintaining current contribution levels.
In fact, Rep. Walsh is asking his colleagues to sign a letter urging Speaker Sal DiMasi and House Ways and Means Chairman Robert DeLeo to make rejection of the governor's proposed increases a priority in the FY09 budget.
