By the time they hit their 35th birthday, young workers today will have held between 9 and 12 jobs on average. Our parent union, SEIU, has developed an interesting new online community to advise these young workers as they job-scotch throughout their careers. The community, called Qvisory, is a non-profit organization that "supports the money, work, and health goals of American workers, particularly young Americans," through advocacy, education, and services. It is a kind of safety net that overlays the frayed webbing of the net of their parent's generation.
The target (although not exclusive) audience is 18-35 year olds, and the community is open to union members and nonunion members alike.
