Calculate Your FY 09 GIC Health Insurance Costs
The Health Insurance calculator can help you calculate how much your premium could cost you under Governor Patrick's proposal. Please use the calculator as a close estimate only. All rates are based on new Monthly GIC Plan Rates that will take effect July 1, 2008.
Governor Patrick's proposal is to create three tiers of cost:
- If you make less than $35,000, you would pay 15% of the total premium cost;
- If you make $35,000 to $50,000, you would pay 20% of the total premium cost;
- If you make more than $50,000, you would pay 25% of the total premium cost
