Sean Maher has worked for the city of Worcester for the past 15 years, where he oversees the maintenance and construction standards of city street lighting. This also includes lighting for public structures and parks. Maher is the President and Executive Officer of NAGE Local 495 representing municipal employees from 13 city divisions. He has been in the union most of his life, starting early as a Teamster at age 17.

Sean enjoys the waging war for the betterment and benefit of others. When asked what he likes to do in his off-hours, he said, “What are off hours?”
