Joe Gaetano has spent 26 years with the Judicial Marshals in Connecticut, the group that provides security services to the state court system.
A union supporter from way back, Joe was one of the original supporters of organizing IBPO Local 731 for the marshals. He rose through the ranks and was elected president in 2009.
“We’ve had more than our share of obstacles and setbacks, but we stay in the fight,” said Joe. “It makes you feel good to fight for members when you see how much they go through and what a difference it makes for them when you get something accomplished.”
A father of two sons, Joe’s a big sports fan and loves to spend time outdoors whenever he can.
