Claudia Wallace Moore has worked at the Coatesville, PA VA Medical Center for the past 45 years. Years ago the union helped her in a situation at, and ever since she has wanted to give back and fight for others. She is an Executive Vice President and President of Local R3-35.
With many proud moments she has had representing for the union, one stands out the most. “I stood up at a town hall meeting and requested 1.5 million dollars for the VISN Employee Development Fund,” said Moore. “My request was granted and each employee was able to request up for $4,000 for continuing education.”
When she is not working, Claudia enjoys gardening and volunteering to help veterans at the Medical Center. She loves caring for her grandchildren Zachary and Nathan, as well as being with her chocolate lab, Tucker Bear and two cats, Gran and Cabella.
