Resources for Emergency Childcare

As a result of an Executive Order issued by Governor Baker in response to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, over 450 Exempt Emergency Child Care Programs have been established across Massachusetts under the direction of the Department of Early Education and Care.

This effort is providing emergency child care for families performing essential duties during the State of Emergency, including families of staff providing CORE services at agencies within the Executive Branch.

If you are an employee at an Executive Agency where you are required to report to work during this public health crisis, you are encouraged to review the EECCP options available to you near your home by visiting the emergency child care search

For more information on this program or on reserving space with a provider, or details on the closures of other license child care facilities through May 4, 2020, please visit the EEC website.

Thank you for all you are doing to ensure the delivery of critical services during these challenging times.

We can either have democracy in this country or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few; but we can't have both. - Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis
