President Obama Celebrates 100 Years of National Parks

August 25, 2016 marks 100 years of the National Park Service. In a presidential proclamation and video, President Obama commemorates the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, discussing the history and importance of our nation’s parks, stating that “Our more than 400 parks and other sites capture our history and our sense of wonder.” He also encouraged all Americans to “Find your park” “so that they too can “experience these sacred places”.

NAGE would like to thank all of our hardworking National Park Service members who preserve our nation’s parks, landmarks, and waters each day. Through your dedication, the legacy of this country will be experienced by generations to come.
