NAGE Endorses Frank Valeri for State Retirement Board

NAGE National President David J. Holway announced the endorsement of Mass Retirees Association President Frank Valeri for the vacant seat on the State Retirement Board.

Frank Valeri is running for the seat left vacant by Ralph White, Association President.  Valeri is a strong candidate for the seat on the State Retirement Board as he has been a resilient advocate on currently retired State employees.  He has worked relentlessly to protect your pensions against damaging “reforms” and has advocated for the filing of legislation to increase the COLA (cost of living adjustment) for State retirees. Valeri has also fought tirelessly to address your social security offset.

The State Retirement Board represents all State employees and is currently chaired by State Treasurer Deb Goldberg. Valeri is a 38 year veteran of state government, and has a history of protecting the benefits that all currently retired State employees receive.

You should currently be in possession of your ballot. Please consider Frank Valeri and mail your ballot back before the December 2nd deadline.
