Lee Blackmon Named Director of NAGE Municipal Division

NAGE would like to congratulate Lee Blackmon on being named Municipal Director at this year’s Winter Executive Board meeting. Lee joined NAGE in 2013 as a Regional Representative for the Mid-Atlantic region, following 13 years at the Office of Unified Communications in Washington, D.C., where she served as Local President.

When speaking with Lee she expressed her excitement and her readiness to start her new position. “I am excited and grateful for this wonderful opportunity and I’m looking forward to serving our Municipal locals throughout the country."

Lee also serves as Deputy Director of the Federal Division working alongside Federal Director Sarah Suszczyk. “Lee has exceled in her work with NAGE and in the Federal Division. I am excited for her new opportunities to lead the locals within the new NAGE Municipal Division.  As Director and Deputy Director of the Federal Division we will continue to work as a team in service to NAGE/IBPO members around the country.”

In making the appointment, National President David J. Holway stated that “Lee’s outstanding work with municipal locals and members in the District of Columbia and elsewhere and her commitment to the organization overall, compelled me to place her in this role. I know she will do well.”
