2019 Stewards Conference

On October 11, 2019, NAGE Stewards from our State and Trial Court divisions gathered for a day of training in Quincy, MA.  The day was a great success, with the largest turnout of Stewards that NAGE has ever hosted at this annual event.  

NAGE President Holway started the day with a resounding Thank You to all the Stewards for the work they do in service of their fellow members. 
  

Erin Beaton was honored with the 2019 NAGE Humanitarian Award for the outstanding work she does with the Chelsea Drug Court. 

Each Local chose a Steward(s) to honor for their excellent work, and presented those Stewards with plaques.
                
                
 
NAGE offered training on topics that come up frequently for our Stewards, given by Legislative Agent Jim Redmond, State/Municipal Director Kevin Preston, Attorney Richard Waring,  and Executive Vice President/Local 207 President Theresa McGoldrick.  

          
 
Several local politicians came by to address our Stewards on the importance of electing political allies in local government.  

    

    

NAGE honored State Representative Paul brodeur with the 2019 Legislator of the Year award, thanking him for all of his consistant hard work for the people of MA.
