NAGE Charities Featured in Boston Teachers Union Magazine

The NAGE Charitable Foundation has been featured in the February 2010 edition of the Boston Union Teacher magazine. The story recognizes NAGE Charities for its $5,000 contribution to the school, and features an interview with National President David J. Holway.
In November 2009, President Holway was "principal for a day" at the school and was extraordinarily impressed by the energy and enthusiasm of the students and teachers. Shortly after his visit to the school, he approached NAGE Charities with the idea that the foundation "adopt" the school. There was no hesitaiton from the NAGE Charities board, and on December 22, 2009, President Holway, NAGE Charities President Mary Sheehan, and NAGE Charities Treasurer John Mann interrupted a meeting of the school's student council to allow the students to participate in the presentation of the $5,000 contribution.
