House Accepts Inslee/Jones/Van Hollen Amendment!

Late Saturday night, before adjourning for summer recess, the U.S. House of Representatives accepted the Inslee/Jones/Van Hollen amendment to the fiscal year 2008 Defense Appropriations bill. The language will block the Department of Defense (DoD) from implementing the parts of the National Security Personnel System (NSPS) having to do with labor management relations and employee appeals. The amendment was passed by a voice vote.
